The NYS Sheriff’s Association sent a letter alleging Governor Kathy Hochul and the state legislature violated citizens’ rights by passing new gun bills "without waiting the constitutionally required three days." IN addition the letter has several more complaints.
The Democratic Senate Majority, disputed the letter’s contents in a statement calling the sheriff’s association’s claims "mistruths".
